Import the file
Open Vizmemo Desktop and choose the local video entry. Select a supported MP4, MOV or WebM file. Import records the source; it does not duplicate the original video or upload it by default.
Prepare audio
Desktop uses local FFmpeg tools for audio preparation. Leave the source accessible until processing no longer needs it. Cache and export locations can be configured separately in Settings.
Use your Vizmemo account
Sign in with the same account you use on Web. Review the credit quote and start processing. Managed transcription uses the necessary derived audio; you do not need to configure an AI provider key.
Preserve your results
Keep the exported Markdown and any assets together. A local note is stored on the current device. Web account notes and device-local Collections have different storage boundaries.
