Web account and notes
Web sign-in uses a protected browser session. Web jobs, generation quota and saved Web notes are managed by the Vizmemo service and linked to the signed-in account. Private notes require the appropriate account access.
Desktop and local files
Imported original videos remain on your device by default. Desktop stores local task records, settings, intermediate files and local notes in their configured locations. Device-local Collections are not cloud-synced Collections.
When generation needs the service
An explicitly started managed workflow sends the required captions, transcript or prepared content to the service and its configured AI provider. Audio processing, when enabled, may require derived audio. Local-first does not mean every AI request runs offline.
Take your notes with you
Download Markdown or a note package. If the package includes images, keep its assets directory next to the Markdown file. Moving a Web note to Recently Deleted is recoverable while the interface shows a restore period.
Analytics is your choice
Analytics stays off until you allow it. Declining or dismissing the prompt keeps it off. You can withdraw permission in Cookie settings. Public-page analytics excludes private application and authentication pages; advertising features are disabled.
