Local workflows
Import video files you have permission to process. Desktop provides local audio preparation, task history, local notes and Markdown exports with image assets when available.
Know where a note lives
Desktop can show account-owned Web notes alongside device-local notes. Local notes and local Collections stay on that device; they are not automatically a cloud backup.
Your account, on your desktop
Sign in with the same Vizmemo account to use managed transcription and note generation. Original local videos stay on your device; the workflow sends only the derived content needed for processing.
Install and keep your data
Close the Desktop application normally before updating, then run the versioned installer. Keep a copy of important exported notes. Installing Desktop and updating a separately loaded Chrome extension are separate steps.
